Spy Kids star Alexa Vega has married her producer boyfriend and fiance Sean Covel over the weekend.The 22-year-old actress, who played Carmen Cortez in the children’s trilogy, tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Sean Covel, 34, at Homestake Opera House in Lead, South Dakota.Vega, who wore an elegant Ian Stewart dress and was surrounded by gorgeous flowers, was walked down the aisle by Spy Kids director Robert Rodriguez, while Wilmer Valderrama was among the guests.Vega had tweeted about the impending nuptials last week, posting pictures of a pile of wedding presents and thanking her fans for their support: “Thank you all for all of your awesome wedding wishes! We are so excited and can’t believe that we are a week away!!! (sic)”She later added: “I am so excited! Hopping into bed now to get some rest before I am a married woman!!”
The couple had planned to then embark on a motorbike road trip for their honeymoon, although work commitments have meant the trip had to go on hold for now.
