Fortunately, they got it, taking a 27-hour escape at the luxe Amangiri resort in Lake Powell, Utah. For Brangelina, it was a very much-needed rendezvous.
"Brad said he was enjoying a little mommy and daddy time," a source says of Pitt, who jetted from New Orleans, where he's been filming Cogan's Trade.

Sorry, kids. This trip was adults only.

Checking in at 2 p.m., they enjoyed a late dinner and flew their private plane over Lake Powell the next morning. Suites at the resort go for $3,300 per night.
Why? Because they feature stunning desert views, a full-service spa, yoga and "floatation" pavilions plus a fitness center and beauty salon. Nice downtime.
The couple never schedules film projects concurrently, in order to ensure the children are looked after. But you gotta take time to look after yourselves, too.
"Brad and Angie have a truly loving, caring, romantic relationship," a friend said. "They try to make it possible for to be together as much as possible."
"That's what makes them so successful in love."

Ayda Field: A New, Real Housewife of Beverly Hills?

Camille Grammer is definitely returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
But the show is still seeking a new, irritating, spoiled woman to come on board, and an insider tells E! News it has zeroed in on two contenders: Faye Resnick and Ayda Field.
"If I were to put money on it," the source says. "I would say Ayda will be the new cast member."

So, who is Ayda Field?

She is the daughter of a movie producer and actually studied law at Columbia University. But she dropped out to pursue an acting career that has taken her from Days of Our Lives to Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. She is married to British pop star Robbie Williams.

A rep for Field confirms his client has been "approached," while Resnick will show up again on season two no matter what. Says someone in the know:

"Faye is shooting for the show already because she is an actual friend of the cast. It is still unclear if Faye will remain a friend or become a central character on the show."

Kim Zolciak Won't Speak to NeNe Leakes Ever Again!!!

Kim Zolciak is ready to blow. Because she's very pregnant? Sure.
But mostly because she's just so darn angry at castmate NeNe Leakes.
"NeNe has problems. I never want to speak to her again," Zolciak told Life & Style this week, following the "Free Sweetie" radio campaign launched by Leakes, in which she hands out t-shirts/posters on behalf of Zolciak's assistant.
On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kim and NeNe often got into it over the former's treatment of Sweetie, as Zolciak says of the campaign: "It's disgusting."

Leakes, who is engaged in a separate feud with Star Jones, is simply a "liar," Kim tells the tabloid. And Kim has "a problem with liars."

How does NeNe feel about her Bravo rival? She makes it clear when asked about Zolciak's impending child: "I'm not interested in seeing the baby, and I have no plans to send a gift. Absolutely no plans at all."

Emily Maynard: Moving to Austin For Brad?

Things looked bleak on the After The Final Rose special, but Brad Womack and Emily Maynard swore they were still together and in this for the long haul.
The doubters may be proven wrong after all.
According to Life & Style, Emily Maynard has decided to make the move from North Carolina to Texas with her 5-year-old daughter, Ricki, to be with Brad!

Jenelle Evans Denies Profiting From Videotaped Fight, Points Finger at Brittany Maggard.

Speaking out against claims by Brittany Maggard that she profited from beating Britany Truett to a pulp, Jenelle Evans says she did nothing of the sort.
Did not profit, that is. Jenelle delivered a beating, alright.
Monday, the Teen Mom 2 star was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct after TMZ posted a video of her beating up Truett.

Now, the MTV reality star claims that Brittany Maggard, who instigated the fight with Truett, was the one who turned a profit with the shocking tape.
Evans charges that Maggard sold off the clip to the media for $45,000. "She told me herself and I got very upset," Evans told E! "I cried for two hours."
Maggard was arrested for violating probation (stemming from a previous assault conviction) after the video showed her encouraging Jenelle to fight.

Teresa Giudice, Castmates Throw Down in Dominican Republic .

Teresa Giudice has thrown down with her brother. Therefore, you can only imagine what this Real Housewife of New Jersey would do to a stranger at a bar.
Then again, according to Radar Online, you don't need to imagine: sources tell that site Teresa and her reality show castmates were on vacation in the Dominican Republic in late February when Giudice started spraying champagne everywhere.
A patron's husband did not react well to the rowdy gesture, "got really angry and punched Teresa in the face!”

From there, police confirm a fracas broke out involving many faces familiar to viewers, all of whom were at the establishment: Caroline Manzo and her husband; Jacqueline and Chris Laurita, Teresa and Joe Giudice; Joey and Melissa Gorga; and the Manzo children, Chris, Albie, and Lauren.

Jessica Simpson to Judge X Factor?

Jessica Simpson is the latest celeb rumored to be joining L.A. Reid as a judge on Simon Cowell's highly anticipated X Factor. She confirmed this - and her interest.
"They have definitely talked to me about X Factor," Simpson told WWD, adding of the upcoming show, "I think it would be a lot of fun. It's definitely my life."
"To be a mentor for up-and-coming artists is right up my alley. I would have loved to have had a mentor. I love watching people's dreams come true."

The 30-year-old singer, who broke out at age 19 but has not had a hit song in years, still keeps mighty busy these days with a highly successful fashion empire.

Rumors also hint that Nicole Scherzinger and British X Factor judge and pop star Cheryl Cole may join the panel, with Cowell confirming she's "in the mix."

Just two weeks after OK! Weekly invented a dream wedding scenario for Kim Kardashian, the magazine has now predicted the future and quoted a source who says Kris Humphries will betray the large-boobed reality star.
Bianka Kamber, who dated the Nets forward for two years, tells the tabloid Kim might find herself heartbroken before she ever walks down the aisle because Kris "won't go through with it."

With what? Another friend swears Humphries will ask for Kardashian's giant breasts in marriage on April 8. He's already chosen the ring "and anytime she leaves, even for a minute, he just acts like a guy completely smitten.”

Fortunately, Humphries can always pop in the video of Kim banging Ray J and be reminded of his true love.

Donald Trump Birth Certificate: Produced!

Absurd as it is that we're even talking about this, Donald Trump confirmed this week that he is, in fact an American citizen, with the documentation to prove it.
This hilarious/sad saga began last week with Trump bloviating at length on The View about President Obama's birth certificate and why he hasn't produced it.
To further his alleged point (that Obama is hiding something), Trump released what he thought was his own birth certificate Monday ... only it wasn't.

The document Trump gave to a conservative website Monday turned out to be a mere "certificate of live birth," not an official birth certificate. Cue cries of hypocrisy.
One day later, Trump's team got their hands on his actual birth certificate, then used the miraculous revelation that Trump is a U.S. citizen to reiterate their "point."
"A 'birth certificate' and 'certificate of live birth' are in no way the same thing, even though in some cases they use some of the same words," a Trump staffer said.
"One officially confirms and records a newborn child’s identity and details of his or her birth, while the other only confirms that someone reported the birth of a child."

Robert Pattinson on Breaking Dawn Birth Scene: Hilarious!

It's a pivotal scene in the arc of the Twilight Saga, introducing the world to Renesmee, Bella and Edward's half-vampire daughter (to be played by Mackenzie Foy) and Robert Pattinson finds it... hilarious?!?
"[Kristen] has to have this pregnant suit on all the time," the actor tells USA Today. "That was probably annoying for her."

Bella and Edward have come a long way since Twilight. So have the actors who portray them.

Of course, Bella undergoes changes far beyond a baby bump, as well.

"I can't give too much away but there's some bits, especially towards the end of the movie, she's just like the polar opposite of any of the other (films)," Robert says. "I mean, she's a different person, which is cool. She looks completely different. She looks probably the most convincing vampire out of all of us."

D.A. Still Investigating Lindsay Lohan For That Rehab Assault Incident Too

If Lindsay Lohan, who will stand trial for felony grand theft, thought her legal problems couldn't get worse, another past brush with the law has resurfaced.
Police are reigniting their investigation into allegations that Lohan attacked Betty Ford staffer Dawn Holland late last year. Remember that melee in rehab?
We know, it's hard to keep LiLo and her alleged felonies straight.

The Riverside County D.A.'s Office sent investigators to meet with witnesses who were with Lindsay on December 12, during her tussle with Dawn Holland.
Cops told the witnesses they were conducting the investigation because the D.A. is still deciding whether to pursue criminal assault charges against Lohan.
Officials want to know if the witness could testify if it was Lindsay or Dawn who was the "aggressor" during that infamous night when the two got into it.
Accounts differ, but reports say LiLo came back to rehab past curfew, Holland asked her to take a breathalyzer, LiLo refused, and blows were exchanged.
Holland's story and level of cooperation have shifted a lot, and the witnesses in the case have not given the D.A. an air-tight case. But it's not over ... yet.

Man Tries, Fails to Stalk Miley Cyrus; Gets Arrested

Musa Danasabe Ibrahim gets an A for effort, but an F for morality.
This 26-year old was arrested around 4 a.m. yesterday for trying to stalk Miley Cyrus.
As first reported by X17 Online, police received a phone call from one of Miley's neighbors early Thursday morning saying they had apprehended a man who claimed "he had a date with Miley."

The only problem? He did not, and he didn't even get the residence right.

"Ibrahim was trying to make entry into Miley Cyrus' house, but he got the houses mixed up," the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement. "When we arrived on scene, we found him in her neighbor's yard. He was arrested for trespassing."

Ibrahim is in custody. His bail has been set for $5,000. Sounds like a good thing Miley is getting out of the country.

Charlie Sheen's Mom Goes Off on Donald Trump

The mother of Charlie Sheen is taking serious issue with Donald Trump. Because that possible, moronic Presidential candidate recently revealed himself as a Birther? No.
Because he claimed to have warned Brooke Mueller's parents against their daughter marrying the former Two and a Half Men star.
In an email somehow obtained by Rupert Murdoch's The Daily, Janet Templeton Sheen - who has been married to Martin Sheen for nearly 50 years - goes off on Trump for referring to Charlie a "disaster."

"THE DONALD IS SPREADING SUCH VICIOUS LIES ABOUT CHARLIE. IS THERE ANY WAY TO STOP HIM?" Janet raged, going on about how Trump reportedly blames Sheen for Mueller's downfall:

"BROOKE...HAD BEEN TO 13 REHABS BEFORE MEETING CHARLIE. SHE DRANK AND DRUGGED DURING PREGNANCY AND HAD SUCH A PARTY GIRL REP BEFORE SHE MET HIM."

Vince Neil Accused of Battery Against Ex

Vince Neil is in trouble with the law again.
The rocker, who was arrested for DUI in June, reportedly got into it with an ex-girlfriend in Las Vegas last night.

The alleged incident took place at the Las Vegas Hilton, according to TMZ, as Neil stands accused of storming in and hurling obscenities at this woman and her two friends. Security called the police on the Mötley Crüe vocalist, who the ex claims got physical with her.

A battery report was filed, but no arrest made.

Neil spent 10 days in jail last month on the aforementioned drunk driving charge.

Lindsay Lohan to Dump Surname, Go By Just Lindsay

Diddy. Madonna. Cher. Prince. Oprah. Beyonce.
Lindsay Lohan either fancies herself on par with these celebrities, or really hates her dad, or a combination of both, because she's gonna ditch the "Lohan."
"Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay," her mom Dina Lohan tells PopEater, and that's not all. "Plus, me and [younger daughter] Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan."

NO, LOHAN, JUST LINDSAY: Felon would also work ...

Lindsay had been thinking about dropping her surname for some time, Dina says, but at first thought that no one would recognize who "Lindsay" was.
It was only after the infamous Super Bowl E-trade ad referring to a baby as "that milkaholic Lindsay," that the actress knew she no longer needed it.
Ironically, she bitched, moaned and even sued over that, but whatever.
"So many of the top people in showbiz are known by one name. Look at Oprah and Beyonce. Now you can add Lindsay to that list," a family friend said.
More importantly, "It's a way for them all to just start over. No one in the family want anything to do with Lindsay's father [Michael Lohan] anymore."

Just a few weeks after rumors of a cocaine scandal broke out around Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 18-year old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston says she might soon anchor her own reality show.
"Guess what?!" she Tweeted yesterday. "We are currently in the process of meetings about starting my very OWN! Realityshow!!"

After denying chatter that she has a drug problem - and blaming an ex-boyfriend as the source of such talk, saying "God will smite them" - this celebrity offspring apparently yearns for viewers to see the true Bobbi Kristina.

"The world needs 2know me 4who I REALLY am. U all will get 2 see my every day living, walk with me thro startin my career..EVERYTHING... I would only want to do this reality show so THEWORLD can know me for me. The GODfreaing young, classy. outgoing, sill, REAL women iAM."

If such a series is based around Bobbi attending English classes, we might be on board.

Old Country, New Adventures: Jersey Shore Cast Stoked For Season 4 in Italy

With the dust settling after an emotional Jersey Shore season finale, all eyes are on Italy, where Season 4 of the MTV show will be filmed as early as mid-April.
Having just delivered the best ratings of the three seasons so far, fans are clamoring for more, blowing up the web for news about the fourth season already.
We can tell you for a fact that a new season will happen, it will be filmed in Italy, it will air later this year and has already exasperated plenty of people there.

Already bombarded with sordid tales of Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s soirees with young women, now Italians have to deal with Jersey Shore? Gonna be rough.
MTV is scouting locations in Italy for Jersey Shore's fourth season, which has rankled Italian-American groups. Over there, peeps are just bemused and irritated.
“That’s the last thing we need,” one prominent Italian-American commentator told the Wall Street Journal about the prospect of the cast's trip to the motherland.

Chris Brown, Rihanna to Reunite For Joint Interview With Robin Roberts?!

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. When Chris Brown loses his mind and explodes on Good Morning America ... welcome him back to talk about it?
ABC was quite forgiving after the singer's tirade this week, keeping his Dancing With the Stars visit on the docket and even inviting him back to GMA.
The reason isn't that they want it to go away, reports a source. They want to "milk this event for everything its worth" news standards be damned.

In the wake of his Good Morning America trip, during which Robin Roberts' questions about Rihanna set him off, ABC wonders if there's more potential here.
There have even been internal discussions about "orchestrating Chris Brown talking to Rihanna for the first time." This is considered "a top get at the network."
Guess that's not a huge shock, as all things Brown have electrified the media so much. As for who the interviewer would be if this came to fruition? Easy call!
"It would be Robin [Roberts]," the insider said matter-of-factly.

Nicki Minaj is out. Might Nicole Scherzinger be in?
The hip hop star will not judge The X-Factor, but Simon Cowell himself sounds very close to naming the former Pussycat Doll as the second judge on his upcoming singing competition.
"I want her to do it, but we've got to get the deal done and find someone she has chemistry with," Cowell tells TV Guide. "I absolutely adore her. She was fantastic on the U.K. X Factor and I'm hopeful it will happen."

Cowell says Cheryl Cole is in the mix and also explains his connection to L.A. Reid, who has been confirmed for the panel.

"I met him approximately fifteen years ago when he'd launched Pink for the first time. He put on a show and got every single person in the room to believe this person was a star. The way he presented her with his passion drew me to him and was a big part of why I chose him to be on the show. A "yes" or "no" from L.A. Reid should really mean something to the contestants."

Uma Thurman on Robert Pattinson: Dashing! Really Good!

Move over screaming teenage girls. Uma Thurman is shoving her way into the Robert Pattinson fan club.
The actress, who stars opposite the Twilight Saga hunk in this year's Bel Ami, told MTV about the star: "He's extremely dashing, like an old-world movie star.. he's incredibly concrete in his presence... and is obviously very handsome."

Uma isn't worried about Rob's career once there are no more Edward Cullen stories to tell, either.

"I think, he's going to be a really serious actor. He's a really good actor."

Rebecca Black Signs with Major Music Label

We haven't heard the last from Rebecca Black.
Thanks to the help of Ryan Seacrest, on whose radio show Black appeared last Friday, the 13-year old singer has been signed by music manager Debra Baum to her label, DB Entertainment.

What kind of music can we expect from Black in the future? The aspiring artist told Entertainment Weekly a few days ago that she wants to record "dance anthem-like stuff."

What about working with famous songwriters? Says the singer: “That’s not a question you should ask me - my parents just throw song ideas at me, and I’ve been listening to a billion different songs.”

Geraldine Ferraro Passes Away at 75

Geraldine , the first woman to ever run for Vice President of the United States, passed away today. She was 75.
A family spokesperson confirms that Ferraro succombed to blood cancer at Massachusetts General Hospital around 10 a.m. In 1984, the three-term congresswoman from Queens joined Walter Mondale's Presidential ticket in an election against Ronald Reagon and George H.W. Bush.
The latter duo won 49 out of 50 states to retain the White House.

Soon after her passing, Mondale paid tribute to his former running mate, remember her "a remarkable woman and a dear human being" and adding:

"She was a pioneer in our country for justice for women and a more open society. She broke a lot of molds and it's a better country for what she did."

Sarah Palin, who followed in Ferraro's Vice Presidential footsteps in 2008, also released a statement on her Facebook page: "She broke one huge barrier and then went on to break many more. May her example of hard work and dedication to America continue to inspire all women."

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth: Married!

Forget walking the line. Reese Witherspoon walked down the aisle yesterday at her ranch in Ojai Valley, marrying entertainment agent Jim Toth in front of family members and friends.
The ceremony lasted approximately 20 minutes and took place in front of a crowd that included Witherspoon's kids, Renée Zellweger, Salma Hayek, Sean Penn, Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr. and others.

Witherspoon was introduced to "Here Comes the Bride" and wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier dress, while her best friend served as Maid of Honor.

The actress and the agent started dating in early 2010 and we wish them a very happy life together.

Joe Giudice: Arrested. Again.

Joe Giudice is in trouble with the law yet again.
The Bravo reality star, who was busted for DUI last year and also booked for a number of outstanding warrants, was arrested on Friday for obtaining a phony driver's license. The assistant prosecutor of New Jersey says Joe used his brother's ID to secure a license because his had been suspended due to the drunk driving incident.
If convicted, he could face time in prison.

Where was Teresa when all this went down?

At an appearance in the Poconos, where she Tweeted hours after her husband's arrest: "Hanging out with my honey at Mt Airy Casino. Just finished dinner now we are going to check out the scene."

Sarah Lane Accuses Natalie Portman, Black Swan of Body Double "Cover Up"

Natalie Portman won an Oscar for role in Black Swan, but now the star's body double is claiming the actress was featured in the film far less than has been advertised.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Sarah Lane -  an American Ballet Theatre soloist who perfected many of the movie's complicated dance sequences - said: “Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie. All the other shots are me.”

Lane spoke out in response to comments a couple days earlier by Portman's fiance, choreographer Benjamin Millepied. He told the L.A. Times that "85 percent of that movie is Natalie.”

However, Lane says that only applies to shots which are "just her face with arms... that doesn’t show the actual dancing.”

Saying she's the victim of a "cover up," Lane adds that Black Swan producer Ari Handel told her to remain quiet about these facts, yet she's going on record now because "it is demeaning to the profession... I’ve been doing this for 22 years... Can you become a concert pianist in a year and a half, even if you’re a movie star?”

Ashley Hebert: Getting to Know The Bachelorette.

Rejected by Brad Womack, 26-year-old Ashley Hebert has been confirmed as the next Bachelorette, with her season set to kick off Monday, May 23.
As the third-place finisher on The Bachelor (Brad chose Emily Maynard over Chantal O'Brien on the finale), Ashley is certainly a worthy candidate.
We grew familiar with the cutie over the past few months, but now that she's about to call the shots, here are some things to know about her ...

She's a fourth-year grad student at the University of Pennsylvania, who will return to school after The Bachelorette and finish dental school this fall.

Star Jones Goes Off on NeNe Leakes, Lisa Rinna

Seriously, can anyone out there stand Star Jones? Anyone at all?
We ask this question in light of the recent stirs created by this former talk show host on the latest season of Celebrity Apprentice.
Referred to as a "back stabber" by co-star NeNe Leakes, Jones tried to hold back in an interview with Daytime Confidential, but ended up going off and saying:

"We're not on the same level. Lets make that clear. We're on the same show... In all honesty, I would never compare myself to another African-American woman. I would never tear down another African-American woman in order to elevate myself. Cream rises to the top and water seeks its own level."
Well, okay then.
Jones has also been feuding with Lisa Rinna, who was eliminated from the show on Sunday night.

Chantal O'Brien on Bachelor Rejection: All Good!

Chantal O'Brien was emotionally crushed by Brad Womack on The Bachelor season finale. But looking back, she has no hard feelings and says it was for the best.
As shocked and confused as she was that Brad didn't propose to her then, the fun-loving, 28-year-old Seattle divorcee says she's "in a really good place."

On Brad not choosing her: "There I was thinking this is someone I could have a future with and they didn't want to be with me. It broke my heart."

On The Bachelor spoilers that reported, erroneously, that she got engaged to Brad: "I started getting text messages and calls saying 'Congratulations!'"
"It was difficult obviously, because I've just had my heart broken and everyone is congratulating me. At the same time, I tried to be a good sport."

The Lindsay Lohan circus is going on the road this week. Or more accurately, it took to the air, flying all the way across the nation from L.A. to N.Y. City.
The actress and alleged necklace bandit, who has until March 25 to accept a plea deal in her grand theft case, arrived at New York's JFK Airport Sunday.
Visiting her sister Ali and mom Dina was the objective ... but she was greeted by about 30 of her closest friends in the celebrity gossip business instead.

Which way to the nearest correctional facility? That way? Nice.

"The paparazzi @ jfk gave me an anxiety attack... i was half asleep!" she Tweeted. "They're such animals :( well @ least im with my family in the end... xo."
As they waited to be whisked away from the airport, the Lohan clan – all three of them in black coats – were surrounded by photographers and flashbulbs.
Lindsay, her hair pulled back in a low ponytail, was shielding her eyes at one point as the shouts of fans and the blaring of car horns added to the chaos.
Hey, she shouldn't be so quick to dismiss them. This is all the publicity she gets nowadays as a professional train wreck. It's not like she works at all.

Lea Black Trashes Sarah Palin, Republican Party: What a Circus!

No cast member has accused her ex-husband of raping her on a bed of broken glass, nor as any talked incessantly about her divorce from a famous sitcom star.
But, not to worry, Real Housewives of Miami fans, Lea Black knows how to make a few headlines for her Bravo franchise.
She has penned an editorial for The Huffington Post in which she sets out to prove that she's "politically active." After detailing her experience in the field, Black goes on to trash Sarah Palin, offering advice "from one reality star to another: Save the "domestic" drama for your reality show!"

"Sarah Palin is the sideshow in the circus that everyone wants to watch, but that most people don't take seriously," Black told E! News about the basis for her article. "The Republican Party has become a circus and she's the sideshow act that everyone likes to laugh at, not with."

Chantal O'Brien's New Boyfriend Revealed: Jeff Razore!

Despite a gut-wrenching rejection Monday night on The Bachelor season finale, things ended up working out for Brad Womack's runner-up, Chantal O'Brien.
She can thank Jeff Razore for that.
As she said on the After the Final Rose special, her Bachelor journey ultimately let her to Jeff, who works at Evergreen Capital Management in Seattle.
We wish her nothing but the best with her new man. Here's a photo of the guy that surfaced online. We'd say Channy's doing well for herself, no?

SWISH, INDEED: Jeff Razore scored big time by snagging Chantal O'Brien.

It has been rumored, and seems very likely, that Chantal O'Brien declined being the next Bachelorette star because of this fledgling, but happy relationship.

Again, it was hard watching Chantal so crushed. We're glad this fell into place.

That honor goes instead to Ashley Hebert. Hopefully Ash can find love too on the new season. Then we'd be three-for-three ... well, if you-know-who lasts.

Ashlee Simpson "Just Feels Bad" For Pete Wentz.

There will be no reconciliation, but Ashlee Simpson does feel kind of terrible for Pete Wentz, and cares for their son enough to hang out with the guy.
That's basically your update on their relationship. Despite reports that they might be patching things up, she's moving on. Just on better terms.
Ashlee Simpson feels badly that Petz is hurting over their impending split, and that's why she spent time with him and their son. End of story.

Pete, Ashlee and Bronx Wentz about a month ago.

Pete is leaving town for a month-long series of concerts (a big part of why they split in the first place), and she wanted to boost his spirits before he left.
TMZ sources say Pete never wanted the divorce and would get back with Ashlee in a second, but she definitely wants out of the marriage. No going back.
They're both trying to stay on good terms for the sake of their son, Bronx, 2, and because they remain close. But Ash is determined to be a single lady.

Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz: Patching Things Up?

Despite their divorce filing last month and a brewing battle over custody of son Bronx, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz haven't been keeping their distance.
The two bonded over fast food - In-n-Out burger, natch - and seemed quite happy to be together, according to reports. But don't jump to conclusions.
It's unclear whether this portends a lasting reconciliation or just the amicable parting of ways that was rumored to be the case a month or so ago.

Last week, Simpson turned heads when she was seen in L.A. with a new guy, rocker Craig Owens, who affectionately put his arm around her shoulder.
A Simpson source told Us that the singer-actress and Owens, who happens to be a protege of Wentz, are simply "longtime friends." Makes you think.
The split has not been that contentious and it's been reported that Pete was not in favor of it to begin with. At least in his eyes, maybe it's not over.

Not only is this a great move for, you know, long-term survival, but it's also smart given her looming jail sentence for grand theft/probation violation(s).
Lynwood Correctional Facility, a place with which she's sadly familiar, is a non-smoking detention center. Yep, no cigs in the can. It's a changing world.

Sources say Lindsay Lohan is on a health kick. No, we're serious.

Lohan is adamant that she's not going to jail despite the felony grand theft charge complicated by a checkered past and a disaster of a probation report.
Jail or no jail, girl is "continuing on the path to a healthier life" by kicking the nicotine habit. Cold turkey, in fact. She also works out with a trainer daily

Scott Disick: No Longer a Douche?!?

What's next, Kim Kardashian will claim she has some kind of personality?
At a recent fundraiser, Scott Disick told People he's cleaned up his act in more ways than one. He's clean, sober and... kind?!?
"You know, I just realized there's bigger things in the world than just being a selfish, self-centered, prick," Scott said.

Disick sought professional help for alcohol and personality issues last summer and says it's a constant battle to remain a changed man.

"There's times that it's difficult but, you know, the good outweighs the bad," he says. "It's nice having a healthier lifestyle than I used to have."

Model Alexis Knapp is allegedly pregnant with the child of Ryan Phillippe, according to reports. The actor did date Knapp for a brief period last summer/fall.
The timeline makes sense, at least. But this still comes out of nowhere.
Knapp, who dated Ryan after he split with Abbie Cornish and before he began seeing Red Riding Hood star Amanda Seyfriend, was seen this weekend.
She is sporting an apparent baby bump, but until there's confirmation or denial (more likely the latter) on Phillippe’s part, take it with a grain of salt:

Brooke Mueller, Children Party Without Charlie

Little Bob and Max Sheen turned two over the weekend and received the best birthday gift of all: a party that did not include their mentally unbalanced father.
The twins were feted at a backyard shindig hosted by Kathy Hilton and attended by such guests as Nicky Hilton, David Katzenberg and Adrienne Maloof. Brooke Mueller was especially relaxed at the event, a witness says.

"Brooke seemed to have a good time... she seemed focused on her kids and nothing else," an onlooker told Us Weekly. "There was a lot of security outside at all times to make sure no uninvited guests got in. There was no sign of Charlie at the party."

As for the twins, who are at the center of Brooke's battle with her ex, and also of her upcoming reality show, which co-stars Kathy Hilton's daughter, Paris? They didn't seem fazed by the awful adults around them.

Richard Hatch Sent Back to Prison

Richard Hatch, winner of Survivor and current contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, is going to jail for not paying taxes for the money he won on Survivor.
The reality star has served more than three years for tax evasion already. He has been under supervised release and was supposed to re-file his taxes.
Hatch, who apparently can't outwit, outplay or outlast the Internal Revenue Service, failed to do so again and did not fork over taxes from 2000-01.

Richard needs to Hatch a plan to hire an accountant.

"It needs to be a severe punishment," U.S. District Court Judge William Smith told Hatch. "That's the only thing that will deter you in the future."
Hatch was also ordered to serve 26 months of supervised release. During that time, a quarter of his gross income will be paid directly to the IRS.
Hatch, who now owes an estimated $2 million, reports to prison Monday. There's a lesson in this, people. Withholding. It works pretty effectively.

John Stamos on Replacing Charlie Sheen: No Thanks!

So much for those John Stamos rumors.
The actor, who has been recurring on Glee this season, shot down chatter that he'd be taking over for Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men yesterday.
"I don't want to replace anyone, especially Charlie Sheen," Stamos told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show. "It's just not where my head's at."

Stamos does find the talk "flattering," but he says he has no idea how or why it started.

"Nobody has officially talked to me and, quite frankly, as flattering as it is... it's really not part of my career plan right now. I'm just on a different trajectory. I'm ready to have my own show."

So... it won't be Stamos. It won't be Rob Lowe. Will anyone take the gig? Got anyone in mind who would be a fit, THG readers?

Alec Baldwin Offers Advice to Charlie Sheen: Beg!

The same man who cracks us up each week with dry-witted 30 Rock quotes has grown (somewhat) serious when it comes to Charlie Sheen's career.
In an editorial for The Huffington Post, based on his own experiences with executives in the movie and TV business, Baldwin addresses the troubled actor and says: "You can't win. Really. You can't."
Meaning what, exactly? Baldwin gives us a look inside the industry and continues:

"No actor is greater than the show itself when the show is a hit. And, in that regard, [executives] are often right. Add to that the fact that the actor who is torturing their diseased egos is a drug-addled, porn star-squiring, near-Joycean Internet ranter, and they really want you to go."
Baldwin is correct that almost all hit shows remain popular and profitable after stars leave. Look at NYPD Blue, ER, CSI.

Calvin Harris and Ke$ha: Practically Fornicating in Public!

Ke$ha attended a Rihanna concert in Melbourne this week... but witnesses say she wasn't exactly singing along to "S&M" or any other hit singles.
The eccentric singer was spotted in the front row of the event, "all over" Scottish artist Calvin Harris, according to onlookers. One told The Melbourne Herald Sun:
"They were getting right into it. They were practically fornicating."

The burgeoning couple left the show early together, sources say, as "they were all over each other and didn't care who was watching. Ke$ha is a bit of an animal, but Calvin reckons he can handle her."

His subesquent Tweet the next day implied as much: "2nd Melbourne show with Rihanna went great! Lots of people in town for Future festival too so was a fun night!"
