Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm a.k.a. Sporty Spice, has announced on her web site the birth of a “beautiful little girl” on Sunday afternoon. “Both Mum and baby, named Scarlet Starr, are doing fine,” the message reads.
This is the first child for Chisolm, 35, and her longtime boyfriend Thomas Starr. The pop star and her partner of six years are reportedly planning to exchange nuptials shortly after the baby arrives.
Mel C is the last of the Spice Girls to become a mother – Melanie Brown has two daughters; Posh Spice Victoria Beckham has three sons with soccer ace David Beckham, and Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton each have one child
