If you thought her recent brush with the law might make Paris Hilton improve her behavior, here is your chance to reconsider that view. She’s now been involved in a hit-and-run scene.
Paris and her boyfriend, Cy Waits were dining at Boa, the upscale steakhouse on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood last night, and as they tried to leave in Wait’s Bentley the paparazzi surrounded the car.
Eyewitnesses tell Radar Waits then tried to escape the crowd by ‘gunning’ the engine, and hit a photographer identified only as ‘Carol,’ knocking her to the ground.
Waits then asked if Carol is okay. Another paparazzo said yes and told Waits to go, so he Paris drove off. Carol then called Paramedics, and when Waits returned to the scene he had to deal with Police who were now in attendance.
The cops gave Waits a field sobriety test and he was detained, and received a citation for hit-and-run. Carol, meanwhile, was transported to the hospital for treatment of a minor cut on her right shin.
And as you might expect, Paris is now busily blaming the photographers for the fact they knocked Carol down;
“Lovely evening with friends and family, ruined by aggressive paparazzi,” she tweeted after the incident. “They are literally insane!”
And all this fun comes just four weeks after the clueless couple were stopped by the Las Vegas PD who found drugs in the purse Paris claimed wasn’t hers. She later confessed and received two suspended jail terms, $2,000 in fines, community service and rehab.
Now free on $2,000 bail Waits lost his job as the manager of a Las Vegas club after the drug bust and must appear in court on November 29 for this latest event.
