Mel B and Stephen Belafonte reconcile after very brief marriage split

Word came this weekend that Spice Girl Mel B’s rollercoaster three-year marriage to Stephen Belafonte was on the rocks. Stephen himself told the Sunday Mirror newspaper the relationship was over and that Melanie Brown was planning to move back to the UK without him. According to the Mirror, they broke up after a fight about a family member. But a source said: “Mel and Stephen are a fiery couple. It’s what makes them tick. But they resolved the argument the best way they know how – in the bedroom.”
Only days before the tumultuous couple, both 35, were photographed kissing over lunch, and Mel has posted Twitter updates referring to her “hubby”. Perhaps not coincidentally TV viewers will next week see the family together when Mel’s reality show The Mel B Project debuts on the Style ­Network.
