I’m A Celebrity: Gillian McKeith collapses. Again.

I’m A Celebrity: Gillian McKeith collapses. Again.
It was an eventful day in the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! camp today, but right in the middle of it (again) was Gillian McKeith, taking part in a trial (again) and needing urgent medical assistance (again)…

Alison Hammond rolled into the jungle, Shaun Ryder threatened to storm out of it and Linford Christie belittled Playboy model Kayla Collins for being, well, a Playboy model. But, it was Gillian McKeith’s fourth trial in this year’s I’m A Celebrity series that stole the limelight.

Decked out in her swim / water gear for a bushtucker trial called Aquatic Strife, the television nutritionist looked anything but a walking advert for nutrition. Already bleating on about being afraid of water after nearly drowning 18 months ago (is there anything she isn’t afraid of?), before she even got to the trial, our Gillian began by putting on a brave face and scooping four relatively speedy stars. And then, just a few minutes into the trial, the shrieking began.

At times the only things that could hear her were household pets, but her flailing arms made it pretty clear that she needed help and Dr. Bob was on hand to carry her off away from the creepy crawlies, and the water. The medics then spent a few minutes propping her up whilst she claimed that she could barely stand. Really? Give it a rest Gillian…

Could this really all be part of some elaborate game plan, bagging all the limelight up front and gradually winning the public over by showing yourself to be braver each trial, and picking up more stars each time? Or is she really afraid of pretty much everything?

We could find out sooner than you might think. Gillian’s already been chosen for the next bushtucker trial… so tune in on Saturday night, straight after X Factor, to see how she gets on in Calamity Cave..!
